Josep and Elena come to New Zealand

Saturday afternoon, looking a little the worse for wear after spending some 40 hours traveling from Barcelona to Wellington, Elena's son Josep and his cousin - also named Elena - arrived at the airport with a couple of suitcases and a real need to crash for a few hours.
They got that chance but not before Elena drove them to Miramar about three-quarters of the way up a mountain so they could get a panoramic view of Wellington Harbor and the city. The first thing they noticed? Well, yeah, it was the wind. It was blowing pretty steadily and while it did not take their breath away it did cause Josep, who at 13 is extremely cool, to be just a tad bit amazed.
We got them to our new apartment, fed them and then shooed them off to bed before they fell asleep at the table.
It's good to have them here.

Josep and his cousin Elena arrived Saturday afternoon from Barcelona .

Elena and Elena in Miramar... the wind caught both Josep and his cousin by surprise... and it was a pretty mild day by Wellington standards.
